Step-by-Step Tutorial

Follow these instructions carefully to craft your exquisite black floral hair clip:

.Prepare the Flower Petals: Take the 5 pieces of 3.5-inch long black gold-edged fabric ribbon. Fold each piece in half lengthwise. Then, use a needle and thread to sew through the diagonal corner of each folded ribbon piece. Each stitch should be about 2 cm apart. Continue sewing the ribbons sequentially, connecting them end-to-end to form a chain of five.

.Shape and Trim Petals: Once all five ribbon pieces are sewn together, use scissors to cut away the other half of each sewn ribbon along the diagonal line. The remaining fabric pieces should now be fan-shaped or curved. Ensure all five pieces are neatly trimmed.

.Seal Petal Edges: Use a lighter to carefully singe the edges of the trimmed ribbon pieces. This will remove any fraying and create a neat, finished look.

.Form the Flower: Gently pull the thread from the bottom center of the five connected ribbon pieces to gather them, forming a flower shape. Secure the base of the fabric flower with cotton thread, tie it firmly, and trim the excess thread.

.Attach Flower to Base: Apply hot glue liberally to one side of the black non-woven felt circle. Carefully adhere the base of your newly formed fabric "flower" onto the glued felt circle. Gently arrange the ribbon pieces with your hands to make them look more like natural flower petals.

.Add the Diamond Embellishment: Apply hot glue to the bottom of the faux-diamond ornament. Carefully place and adhere it to the top center of your fabric flower.

.Prepare the Main Bow Ribbon: Take the 8-inch long black gold-edged ribbon. Apply double-sided tape to both ends.

.Form the Main Bow: Remove the backing from the double-sided tape on both ends of the 8-inch ribbon and adhere them to the ribbon's centerline. Now, pinch three pleats into the ribbon along the direction parallel to the ribbon. Use elastic cotton thread to firmly bind the ribbon along its centerline, wrapping about 15 times. Tie it securely and snip off the excess thread.

.Prepare the Secondary Bow (Loop): Take the 4-inch long black gold-edged ribbon. Apply double-sided tape to one end. Remove the backing and adhere it to the ribbon's other end, forming a loop. Pinch three pleats into one end of this joined ribbon. Use elastic cotton thread to bind the pinched end, wrapping about 15 times. Tie it securely and trim the thread.

.Assemble the Ribbon Bow: Apply hot glue to the top of the cotton-wrapped section of the main black bow you made in Step 8. Take the half-bow/loop piece you just made (from Step 9) and attach it to the main bow, angling it approximately 15 degrees to the right, aligning the cotton-wrapped sections.

.Attach Bow to Hair Clip: Apply hot glue to the top center of the 3-inch metal snap clip. Carefully adhere the assembled ribbon bow onto the clip, ensuring it's centered and secure.

.Reinforce with Thin Ribbon: Take the 2.5-inch long black ribbon. Apply hot glue to its center and attach it to the top of the cotton-wrapped area of the bow. Wrap this thin ribbon around the bow's center. Then, apply hot glue to both ends of the thin ribbon and press them onto the top backside of the hair clip, reinforcing the bow's attachment to the clip.

.Final Assembly - Attach Flower: Apply hot glue to the other side (the unglued side) of the black non-woven felt circle at the base of your fabric flower. Carefully adhere this entire flower assembly to the very top of your completed ribbon bow.

Your black bow hair clip with a beautiful fabric flower is now complete! Despite its dark base, the golden edges of the ribbon and the delicate fabric flower add vibrant life, while the shimmering faux-diamond ornament provides an eye-catching sparkle. This accessory perfectly encapsulates the bold and passionate ambiance of the entire collection.
